MYP Language Arts 9 Honors

Welcome to MYP LA 9 Honors! 

I'm so excited to be teaching this challenging and fun class!

This honors course is centered around the core macro skills of reading, writing, speaking, and thinking.  More specifically, it requires you to truly be a student of language and literature, not just a reader of books.  And while this course is not a requirement for any program you’d like to follow at LHS (i.e. IB), it does carry weighted credit for grades of “C” or higher.

I urge you to have an open mind. 

Be DARING, be bold… have courage. 

If you do these things, I promise that you’ll be surprised at the things you can accomplish.
